Last Friday saw our Presidents Dinner held at O Albatroz Restaurant in Carvoeiro. 80 members were treated to a fabulous meal with dancing to DJ Simon afterwards.

There were several presentations during the evening,The Presidents Trophy, Club Championships and the Knockouts. 

The winners:

Presidents Trophy: Lez Jennings, Mick Girling, Bob Cutt and Bernard O'Reilly, Runners Up: Richard Emrich, Wendy Emrich, Gary Bristow and Peter Steward

Club Championships: Damir Babikov and Gill Edwards

Men's KO: Bob Coe, Runner Up: Les Smith

Ladies KO: Kerstin Staeck, Runner Up: Gillian Duplessis

Men's Pairs: Gunnar Eskisson and Glenn Pennington, Runners Up: Gary Edwards and Arthur Greenwood

Ladies Pairs: Gill Edwards and Judi Murphy, Runners Up: Kerstin Staeck and Jennie Kelly

Mixed Pairs: Gunnar Eskilsson and Ylva Eskilsson, Runners Up: Mick Caudle and Jennie Kelly

President Steve Edwards thanked all those officers of the club for their continued hard work. SdM are very lucky to have such a dedicated team.

He also announced the Clubs intention to offer Honoury Memberships to Don and Dot Forrester and Charles Bradshaw in recognition of their services to the club.
